Kara is a Co-Founder of The DRC. She has helped develop DRC events and promotions that have helped make The DRC what it is today. Kara also helped build the Kids Corner program, which is a cornerstone for our family atmosphere.
Kara is a Senior Specialty Sales Representative at Eli Lilly and Company. She has a bachelor’s degree in communication and media studies with a minor in business from the University of San Diego. After starting in advertising sales, she moved on to pharmaceutical sales and has spent the last 8 years with Lilly as a consultant in the Osteoporosis division. She routinely speaks about bone health in conjunction with nutrition and weight-bearing exercise.
She was introduced to CrossFit in 2011 after having her first son. She couldn’t believe how effective the workouts were and how great she felt. She developed an enthusiasm for living a more healthy, active lifestyle for herself and her family.
